En el caminar por la vida, vamos viendo y entendiendo que todo es un aprendizaje, en donde nuestra felicidad y tranquilidad, va a depender mucho de como lo enfrentemos y lo afrontemos.

Día 1 – Cuando se agotan las opciones (editado)

📖 Nehemías 2:17-18

“Les dije, pues: Vosotros veis el mal en que estamos, que Jerusalén está desierta, y sus puertas consumidas por el fuego; venid, y edifiquemos el muro de Jerusalén, y no estemos más en oprobio. Entonces les declaré cómo la mano de mi Dios había sido buena sobre mí, y asimismo las palabras que el rey me había dicho. Y dijeron: Levantémonos y edifiquemos. Así esforzaron sus manos para bien.”

Reflexión: Escalando en fe

Subir una montaña no es fácil. El terreno es empinado, el aire se vuelve más escaso, y llega un momento en que las fuerzas parecen agotarse. Así también es nuestra vida espiritual: hay días en los que sentimos que ya no hay salida, que no hay opción más que rendirse. Pero es justo ahí, en la altura del cansancio, donde Dios nos invita a dar el siguiente paso de fe.

Esta mañana iba conduciendo hacia la iglesia. Se me había hecho tarde, así que, sin pensarlo, excedí el límite de velocidad. En el fondo presentía que me toparía con un policía… y así fue. Una patrulla que venía en sentido contrario dio la vuelta y comenzó a seguirme.

Al detenerme, encendí las luces de parque y esperé. Cuando busqué mi cartera para sacar mi licencia, me di cuenta de que la había dejado en casa. El policía me pidió la licencia, y tuve que decirle la verdad. Luego me pidió mi número de seguro social, pero tampoco lo recordaba. Su expresión cambió y me dijo, molesto, que tendría que llevarme detenida por no portar mis documentos.

Intenté explicarle y suplicarle de varias maneras, pero su decisión parecía firme. En ese momento, con el corazón desesperado, solo pude decir desde lo más profundo de mi alma:

“¡Jesús, por favor, ayúdame!”

El policía me miró en silencio y, con una expresión diferente, me dijo:

“Regrésese a su casa y traiga su licencia y su seguro social.”

Ese instante fue una lección divina. Cuando las opciones humanas se agotan, es cuando la fe verdadera nace. Es allí donde comprendemos que nuestras fuerzas, argumentos o estrategias no bastan, sino que solo Dios puede intervenir.

A menudo, buscamos primero soluciones humanas y dejamos a Dios como el último recurso. Sin embargo, debería ser al revés: Él debe ser siempre nuestra primera opción.Porque cuando nos separamos del que tiene la solución, inevitablemente nos separamos de la solución misma.

Day 2 – When There’s No Way Out… But God

Nehemiah 2:17-18

17 Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.”
18 And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work.

1 Samuel 1:2

And he had two wives: the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

An Experience That Taught Me to Cry Out

This morning, on my way to church, I was running late and driving over the speed limit. I had a feeling I might run into a police officer… and sure enough, I did. A patrol car came toward me from the opposite direction, turned around, and followed me. I pulled over and turned on my hazard lights.When I reached for my wallet to get my driver’s license and phone, I realized I had left it at home. The officer asked for my license, and I had to admit I didn’t have it. He then asked for my Social Security number, but I didn’t know it by heart either—it was in my wallet at home. Frustrated, he told me he would have to arrest me.

I pleaded with him in different ways, but his answer was the same: “I’m going to arrest you.” At that moment, from deep within my heart, I cried out:
“Jesus, please help me!”

To my surprise, the officer looked at me and said:
“Go back home and get your license and Social Security card.”

Truth for the Heart

That moment reminded me of a powerful truth: when human options run out, faith is born. It’s in those moments we realize our need to call on the One who can do all things.

The problem is, too often we exhaust every human solution before turning to God. But if we separate ourselves from the One who holds the solution, we separate ourselves from the solution itself.

💡 Final Thought:
Don’t wait until you’re backed into a corner to call on God. Let prayer be your first response, not your last resort.

Día 3– La Oración Sincera

📖 Texto clave: Nehemías 1:4

“Cuando oí estas palabras me senté y lloré, e hice duelo por algunos días, y ayuné y oré delante del Dios de los cielos.”

Historia personal

Cuando el doctor me dijo que mi esposo tenía cáncer terminal, mi corazón lloró en silencio. Él guardó silencio… hasta que, con lágrimas en los ojos, dijo:
✨ “Comienzo mi aventura con Cristo.”
Palabras que mostraron fe en medio del dolor.

📜 La reacción de Nehemías

Nehemías, al escuchar la tragedia de su pueblo, no buscó soluciones humanas primero, sino que:
1️⃣ Reconoció la grandeza de Dios.
2️⃣ Confesó su pecado y el de su pueblo.

📖 “Al corazón contrito y humillado no despreciarás tú, oh Dios” (Salmo 51:17).

🔑 5 Claves de una oración sincera

✅ Humildad – Reconocer que sin Él no podemos.
✅ Reconocimiento – Alabar su grandeza antes de pedir.
✅ Entrega – Rendir nuestra voluntad a la Suya.
✅ Compromiso – Decidir obedecerle.
✅ Agradecimiento – Recordar lo que ya ha hecho.

💡 Reflexión final Dios no quiere repeticiones vacías ni palabras adornadas.
Él quiere un corazón sincero, que confiese, pida perdón y clame por misericordia.Cuando oras así… tocas el corazón de Dios
Y es entonces cuando llegan las respuestas.

Day 3 – The Genuine Prayer
📖 Key Verse: Nehemiah 1:4

“When I heard these words, I sat down and wept, and mourned for days. I fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.”

Personal Story

When the doctor told me my husband had terminal cancer, my heart wept silently.
He remained silent… until, with tears in his eyes, he said:

“I am beginning my adventure with Christ.”

Words that showed faith amidst pain.

📜 Nehemiah’s Response

Upon hearing about the tragedy of his people, Nehemiah did not first seek human solutions.
His first step was to turn to the God of heaven:

1️⃣ He acknowledged God’s greatness.
2️⃣ He confessed his own sin and that of his people.

📖 “A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” (Psalm 51:17)
